Very pleasant and tasty! Happy hour has great drink specials as well. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet relaxed. Friendly service.

Came here for lunch and they have a really good lunch special: 2 rolls with soup for $15 The restaurant is nice and clean and the staff is friendly. The presentation was really nice esp for lunch. I ordered the salmon avocado roll and the shrimp tempura roll. It came with miso soup. The miso soup was tasty with the right amount of seaweed and tofu. The salmon roll was really good. Saloon was tasty and fresh and the avocado was ripe and creamy. The shrimp tempura was also really tasty. The shrimp was friend with planko and it was hot and crispy. The roll was good it was just kinda hard to eat without it falling apart. This restaurant is close to my job so I will be back.

Great happy hour and great sushi. Dinner specials $28 for three rolls! Wine $7. Delicious sushi! Huge portions. Staff is helpful! Place is nice. I can't wait to try the lunch specials! Spicy tuna is delicious and so is yellow tail!

Hamachi Kama is one of my favorite dishes and boy oh boy does Azuki do it right! Crispy skin and tender inside served with a tangy ponzu sauce.. yum! This place is so cute and cozy can't wait to come back.. also who doesn't love a happy hour that goes until 9pm!?

I ordered here for takeout sushi at lunch and was impressed. It is a bit pricey but the quality of the food and serving size is acceptable. I would order from here again. I enjoyed the shrimp tempura Manhattan wrap and the spicy crunchy tuna roll.

Was craving sushi for my lunch break, but wasn't sure where to go. Luckily, as I turned the corner, I find Azuki. I've been here once before and it did not disappoint. The miso eggplant was delicious, and all their sushi is fresh and well made. I certainly recommend this spot. It's a chill spot with relaxing music. Great place for a date, or solo.

It's always a great place to eat. The food is delicious, and the service is great. My lady enjoyed the food, which says a lot because she is very picky regarding sushi. Trust me, you won't be disappointed .

Azuki is the kind of restaurant I wish I had in my neighborhood. Upon first glance, the restaurant utilizes a minimalistic decor which is quite elegant, but it caters to the casually dressed. The restaurant is truly welcoming to people who came in to eat. There's a surprisingly wide variety of Japanese food. Sashimi, sushi (with a couple of specialty rolls) and for the non-fish people, there is a teriyaki steak made to order, ramen, donburi, wow! Just that many things to explore. However, my favorite thing, Hamachikama, was available on the menu as an appetizer. I ordered the grilled eggplant to go with it and called it dinner (very little carbs, of course, for those who are Type 2 -D)

Azuki has stood the test of time as this has been my go-to sushi spot in this area for more than a decade. Not too far from Penn Station, Madison Square Garden and even Port Authority this is a small sushi restaurant that is great to go too if you need it in a pinch. Quality food has been had at each visit. This last visit was during happy hour where a select number of cocktails and spirits were $8. I also dined solo just grabbing an order of shumai and the Manhattan Roll. Tuna outside, shrimp on the inside and a bunch of eel sauce and spicy mayo dressed the roll. The shumai came out hot and delish, my roll was a nice size and my Captain Morgan and ginger ale was the perfect happy hour drink. Service is always top notch, even though the food does take a bit to come out. Moral of the story: If you need a spot in an area of Manhattan that can get touristy and overwhelming, this is a spot you can count on.
